✔ 1 cup long-grain white rice
✔ 2 cups chicken broth or water

✔ 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
✔ 1 teaspoon ground cumin

Rinse the rice in a fine mesh
strainer until the water runs clear.
Heat the oil in a medium
saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes,
until softened.

Remove the saucepan from the heat
and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
